How to Store Garlic/Scapes and Cherries
GARLIC: They store best in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, out of direct sunlight. A paper bag is good, or a ceramic pot, but definitely NOT in the fridge.
GARLIC SCAPES: They store best, for potentially a month or more, in a plastic bag in the fridge.
Cherries: Fresh cherries will store in your refrigerator for 1-2 weeks in ideal conditions.
They also freeze well on a baking sheet, after a quick wash.
Note: It’s easiest to pit cherries when they’re fresh.
And it’s not necessary to pit cherries before juicing them.
